Sign of Spring at the Greenmarket
Springy weather always arrives well before springy produce at the farmers' market. A string of 70-degree days and blossoming flowers for sale notwithstanding, the Union Square stalls still feature mainly apples, onions and greens.
But this morning, I did find some green garlic, a tasty harbinger of spring, at the John D. Madura Farm stand. What to do with it? Here's a good recipe.
