Stossel Takes on 'Food Police' and 'Social Engineers' Tonight
Tonight, in typical fear-mongering fashion, John Stossel's show will fan the flames of anxiety about "the food police" and the "prohibitionists." In the preview, he furtively eats a bacon double cheeseburger, playing scared that someone might take it from him (cue sirens!), and speculates that soon school bake sales will be outlawed and the government will "sue the Girl Scouts" for selling cookies.
We're not fans of banning foods, and find Bloomberg's salt initiative as stupid as the next guy, but calm down Mr. Big Mustache, no one's going to take away your bacon double cheeseburger.
