Strange Snacks of the World--Twiglets
Yes, Twiglets do look like real twigs! Well, kinda.
As you can see, Twiglets are a species of pretzel, but one taste and you can detect the difference. They taste like they've been dipped in V-8 Juice and then dried in the exhaust fan of a barn. In other words, not very good. But maybe you'll eat them anyway, seeing as how healthy they're likely to make you. Get them at Myers of Keswick, where, at $2.50 per small sack, the price is rahther steep. 634 Hudson Street, 212-691-4194
