Terroir Celebrates Today's World Cup With a U.S.A. Vs. Belgium Beer-Off
Assuming you're like, oh, everyone we know and you plan to duck out of the office early to catch the U.S.A. squaring off against Belgium, there are loads of bars and restaurants where you might belly up to the bar for a beer while you watch the match.
Terroir Murray Hill (439 Third Avenue) is offering extra incentive -- a face-off of Belgian and American beers.
Taste one beer from each country across three different styles; New York's Ommegang Witte competes against the St. Bernardus Witbier in the witbier category, Connecticut's Two Roads Worker's Comp Saison goes head to head against Saison Dupont, and Pennsylvania's Victory Golden Monkey faces down the Merdsous 10 Tripel for title of supreme tripel. Get both the witbiers for $8, both the saisons for $10, and both tripels for $12. Taste one or all three.
Terroir is also running a special on moules frites for $10; you can always order wings or sliders if that seems un-American.
