The Mütter Museum Dispenses Holiday Cheer With Conjoined Gingerbread Men
Philadelphia's Mütter Museum isn't a place one normally associates with food -- fetuses in jars and giant tumors not being particularly appetizing -- and as such provides a useful barometer for just how far and wide the country's food frenzy has traveled. To wit: The museum (or at least its gift shop) is making its own distinctive contribution to the gastronomic gift-giving canon with the above Conjoined Gingerbread Men Cookie Cutter, which even comes with a recipe. As delightful as this is, one hopes they'll stop there, before they get any ideas about jumping on the pickling bandwagon ...
