The New Yorker Meets Dos Equis's Most Interesting Man in the World
In The New Yorker this week, Nick Paumgarten has lunch with the Most Interesting Man in the World. Well, sort of.
It's actually the actor, Jonathan Goldsmith, who plays the character in the popular Dos Equis ads, which recently helped the company become the first beer brand to reach 1 million "Likes" on Facebook. It turns out that the Most Interesting Man really is rather interesting, especially considering he's a Jewish actor from the Bronx. He lives on a sailboat, wears a black diamond earring, and "loves[s] to cut wood."
