To drink, guests can choose from beer, Brooklyn Oeneology wine, and a special cocktail from Kings County Distillery. Tickets are $95 and are all inclusive for all food and drink; secure them here.
Taste Makers: A Food Art Exhibit Opening Reception, Court Tree Collective, 371 Court Street - 2nd Fl., Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m.
Take a night off from taking your own food photos and see how artists go about depicting food. At this gallery opening, several themes are touched upon, including the impact food has on our senses, and the ethical responsibilities society faces with issues like food waste. The opening reception - which is free to attend - will also have a selection of bites from friends of Court Tree Collective such as Red Star Sandwich Shop. Click here for more info.
Madison Square Eats, Worth Square, 5th Avenue at 24 Street, Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The event, which runs until October 1st, features new dishes like ramen from Koa, fried chicken biscuits, and Jicama's tamales. Returning again this year include Roberta's Pizza and Macaron Parlour, with 27 stalls total offering a wide variety of cuisines. Here's a full vendor lineup.
