The long awaited return of Nutella Bar at Eataly is now over. Hazelnut addicts can spend the weekend sampling over thirty items including lattes, waffles, and gelato. The menu also includes pastries such as brioche rolls and various hot and cold coffees. The new space features two seated counters for those looking to stick around with a sweet and brush up on their Italian.
Essex Street Market Turns 75! Birthday Block Party, Essex Street Market, 120 Essex Street, Saturday, 12 p.m.
Chefs from Cafe Katja, Spur Tree and An Choi are manning the grill in celebration of Essex Street Market's 75th birthday. The free block party includes DJs, live music, prizes, and pushcarts full of market specialties. A giant birthday cake will also be presented to mark the special occasion.

For $20, guests can enjoy unlimited tacos stuffed with a variety of traditional and outside the box fillings. A cash bar will be on hand for those looking to wash down any lingering tortillas too. Learn how to grow mushrooms for both culinary and medicinal purposes at this hands-on workshop hosted by Olga Tzogas of Smugtown Mushrooms. Guests will learn the step by step process of growing fungi in a variety of environments, with each attendee receiving an oyster mushroom kit to take home. Reservations are $50 and can be secured here.
