Tierra Sana in Forest Hills Down for the Count
Food only a colorblind person could love.
Fork in the Road friend Joe DiStefano called a few minutes ago to report that Tierra Sana, a place I reviewed in this blog three months ago, was shuttered. "That awful health food spot in Forest Hills has been seized by the City Marshall. While I hate to see a place go, underneath I'm kind of glad since I'd planned to get a shot of wheatgrass juice. Now I've been spared that blechtacular taste."
I didn't think it was so bad. Still, it's most notable feature was invented, expensive, strangely colored food, as you can see in the above photo. When was the last time you saw a lavender gravy?
