TKettle Bringing Bubble Tea to St. Marks on Feb. 10
TKettle brings tidings of bubble tea and Taiwanese food.
In December, the bubble tea purveyor TKettle announced it would be taking over the space it previously shared with Col-Pop Chicken on St. Marks; a sign in its window promised that it would be serving "irresistible" Taiwanese food in a mere three weeks. That didn't come to pass, and now, there's yet another sign in the window.
A blackboard sign addressed to its "loyal customers" informed passersby that the restaurant is closed for renovation from Jan. 24 to Feb. 10. After that, it will be serving "the best bubble tea" and "delicious" Taiwanese food to anyone who happens to come through the doors. In the meantime, of course, there are Twitter and Facebook pages to pass the time.
