Autumn in New York is unquestionably one of the best times to visit the city. You can ride the subways without drowning in your own sweat and amble the streets of Soho without clobbering through the throngs of teen tours. Plus, hotel-room rates are slightly cheaper. Hotel dining once meant steaks and club sandwiches. However, in recent years there have been some rather remarkable openings, enticing even those who aren't lodging upstairs to come pay a visit. So check back in early tomorrow morning for Our 10 Best Hotel Restaurants. Already live in the Big Apple? Hello, staycation!
