Top Chef Coming to New York, With Possible All-Stars Lineup
We may still be choking down the current season, but reports are already abounding of who will star in the next season of Top Chef, and where.
Fresh off the news that Season 8 will film here in New York, Eater has learned that instead of featuring first-time contestants, the show will bring back previous competitors for an All-Stars lineup. And they're said to include this season's Angelo and Tiffany, as well as Spike Mendelsohn, Dale Talde, Tiffany Faison, and Mike Isabella.
Which, if it's true, means that neither Angelo nor Tiffany will win Season 7, because winners aren't eligible for All-Stars rounds (which would seem to contradict the idea of an all-star, but never mind). And while we're having a difficult time staying even moderately invested in this season, we still didn't want the ending more or less given away, because now we have even less reason to endure the weekly onslaught of dull personalities and Whole Foods/Lexus/Hilton product placements. Also: Angelo, again? Haven't we suffered enough?
