Top Chef Masters Line-Up Has Been Unleashed
Entertainment Weekly got its hands on the line-up for Season 2 of Top Chef Masters, which will premiere on April 7. Of the 22 competitors, six were featured on Season 1.
The six returning chefs, Jonathan Waxman, Mark Peel, Rick Moonen, Ludo Lefebvre, Wylie Dufresne, and Graham Elliot Bowles, will be joined by New Yorkers Jimmy Bradley, David Burke, Carmen Gonzalez (who, technically, is a "chef consultant"), and Marcus Samuelsson. Intriguingly, the line-up names Samuelsson's restaurant as The Red Rooster, rather than Aquavit, suggesting he's picked a name for the Harlem restaurant he's reportedly planning to open.
The line-up, which follows below, is fine, but more exciting is the news that The Simpsons' Matt Groening and Hank Azaria will appear as guest-judges, which allows us to hope against hope for a challenge incorporating Duff beer, doughnuts, and Krusty burgers.
