Torrisi Italian Specialties to Serve Dinner Starting March 9th

An assortment of Torrisi Italian Specialties' vibrant antipasti makes for a delicious lunch, as does their mammoth, torte-like meat lasagna. But soon the small storefront will be open for dinner, too, so if your nonna has gone to the big kitchen in the sky, you might want to stop by for solid Italian-American plates.

The five-course prix fixe will cost $45, and the first course will always be an array of those antipasti -- made, as all of Torrisi's food is, from only domestic ingredients. Then there will be a pasta course, a main course, and two dessert courses.

An employee of the restaurant said that the dinners will start on March 9th, and that the menu will change nightly. Diners Journal reports that options might include pasta shells with squid, and pork chop with vinegar peppers.

The wine, like the food, is domestic, and reservations are not taken. Don't miss the homemade tri-color cookies.
