Two Restaurants That Opened in NYC This Week

When one restaurant's doors close, another restaurant's doors open in fast-paced New York City, and every Friday we'll fill you in on what opened up around town this week. This week was a slow one for openings, but here are a pair of new entrants.

Green and Brown, 115 Stanton Street Coffee shop Green and Brown has opened in the Lower East Side. According to Bowery Boogie, the café is named for the beans' journey from plant to mug. The space features an exposed brick wall and farmhouse-style trinkets.
Le Jardin Bistro, 115 Avenue C, 917-475-1213 After four years, French eatery Le Jardin Bistro has returned to New York City. Located in the former Apartment 13 space, the restaurant is serving up traditional French fare like steak tartare and cassoulet. Le Jardin Bistro is open for dinner Monday through Saturday.
