Under the Toque: Rocco DiSpirito Endorses Salt; Was Todd English the Victim of Domestic Violence?
Geoffrey Zakarian will be the executive chef at the restaurant in the hotel that Sant Chatwal, of the Bombay Palace restaurant chain, plans to open in the spring of 2010. The Chatwal will be located in the former Lambs club on West 51st Street. [NY Times]
Chef agent Scott Feldman allegedly refused entry into his party to Wynn Las Vegas chef and James Beard Award winner Paul Bartolotta because the chef had his two sous chefs with him. Feldman denies it, but several journalists witnessed the debacle. [NY Post]

Todd English, who left fiancee Erica Wang at the altar, has accused Wang of physical abuse. He was recently spotted with a black eye, and claimed Wang once hit him with his own watch. Wang is reportedly looking for a book deal or TV show to tell her side of the story. [Gawker]
