National Margarita Day is this weekend!

With any luck, we'll get a reprieve from the snow and cold this weekend -- which means you should get out and enjoy the city while you can. Here's where:
Batchery: An Artisan Run Pop Up Market, Bat Haus, 279 Starr Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday, noon
Learn more about local Brooklyn products at this pop-up market, which will also dish out free samples and hot chocolate. The event includes tastings from over 15 local vendors specializing in things like salsa, jam, and cookies; look for makers like Bacchanal Sauce and Mike's Hot Honey.
Make Chocolate From Scratch, MakerBar, 38 Jackson Street, Hoboken, NJ, Saturday, 2 p.m.
Fuel a chocolate addiction by learning out to make it. For $50, this class will cover how to make dark chocolate out of cocoa beans and cocoa butter, and you'll learn about the different members of the chocolate family. Register through the event's web site.
National Margarita Day, multiple locations, Saturday
Go out and honor a tasty tequila drink -- several bars around town are offering specials. Check out The Mulberry Project to sample creations like Sam Ziar's chill and smoke, a margarita made with Thai peppers and honey syrup. Additional restaurants that will be slicing up the limes include Toloache Thompson, Rayuela, and Casa Nonna; the latter will offer a special blood orange margarita for the occasion.
Caskalot, 508 Gastrobrewery, 508 Greenwich Street, Sunday, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
If cask ales are what you crave during NYC Beer Week, Chris Cuzme's restaurant and brewery is hosting two sessions of unlimited pours. Unfiltered brews from several New York City area outfits, including Queens' brand new Finback Brewery, will be available for consumption during each of the three-hour sessions. Reserve your spot.
