Vyne Has Soft Opened, Spotlighting White Wine in the West Village
The West Village gets high on white.
Terroir Tribeca isn't the only new wine bar in town. Vyne has very quietly opened its doors at 82 West 3rd Street, although it won't have its official launch until the first week of May. Owner Inez Bon says the place is open to passersby, which is a "low pressure" way to allows the staff to "practice... so that we can get everything right."
As FitR reported last month, the kitchen will turn out European-flavored small plates, while the wine list specializes in European wines and affordable pours, with about 65 percent geared to white wine drinkers (aka the party girls of the wine world).
