If you've been watching the coverage of the Boston bombing on any of the networks, you know the the manhunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev took place on Willow Street in Watertown. Right around the corner, and front-and-center in many of the live video feeds, is a restaurant called Strip T's, at 93 School Street, which has become one of Google's top search terms over the last hour or so. Here is what FiTR has gleaned about the restaurant.

The ambitious menu is somewhat upscale, and subscribes to many of the tropes of creative bistro dining. Playfully named dishes include chicken wings with Moxie [a regional soft drink] sauce, Japanese sweet potato wedges, glazed veal breast with hay yogurt, rye pappardelle, roast chicken al mattone from gianonne farms with marinated parsnips and kohlrabi greens, walnut, ricotta, fig.

The restaurant is owned and operated by father and son Paul and Tim Maslow of Waltham, Massachusetts. Chef Tim Maslow is apparently a veteran of the David Chang empire. Here's info on the chef from Boston Eater.

Strip T's will be closed for lunch and dinner today, Friday April 19th.
