We Now Have Two Lobster Roll Trucks
Now with wheels
Only a scant few days after the Luke's Lobster truck took its maiden voyage, the Red Hook Lobster Pound is putting its own truck on the road. Grub Street reported the news earlier this morning, and according to the Pound's Twitter feed, the truck is open for business on Park Avenue between 25th and 26th streets. Their lobster roll costs $16, just like Luke's. Luke's, for the record, is currently parked at Eighth Avenue and 56th Street -- so for today, at least, there won't be any territorial skirmishes.
