Weekend Special: Street Food
This truck, which has been parking itself along East 20th between Broadway and Park Avenue lately, demonstrates the principal: If you're going to lie, lie big.
The ironically named New York Hot Dog and Coffee is really a Korean chain, and business has been a little slow. It seems consumers strolling down Bleecker would glance inside, wonder what the hell a bulgogi dog was, then walk on. Well, this glass case recently pushed out onto the sidewalk answers those sorts of questions in beautiful 3-D.
File this in the category of Fads That Won't Die: Seen on Sixth Avenue just south of West Eight, the humongous birthday cake cookie lives!
