Wednesday, January 23 Pie Samples at Pie Face Wednesday thru Saturday, patrons of Pie Face, the Australian pie establishment uptown and in Murray Hill, will get free meat pie samples and a chance to spin the Pie face Prize Wheel. Thursday, January 24 Burns Night at Highlands Celebrate Scotland's national poet Robert Burns at Highlands in the West Village. The restaurant will offer a $55 prix fixe menu. Add on another $35 for whiskey pairings. Don't forget about the poetry reading and bagpipers. 150 W. 10th St.

Saturday, January 26 Australia Day at the Sunburnt Cow Throw some shrimp on the barbie at Alphabet City's the Sunburnt Cow. They'll celebrate Australia Day with Aussie music, drink specials, and costumes. 137 Ave. C
