Un Certain Gout de L'Amerique: Daniel Boulud New York University Cantor Film Center September 23 Daniel Boulud may hail from France's gastronomical capital of Lyon, but he made his name here in New York with such revolutionary restaurants as DANIEL, Cafe Boulud, and DB Bistro Moderne. A new documentary tracing Boulud's path from his family's farm to Manhattan will be presented by NYU's Maison Francaise, followed by a conversation between the chef and French Culinary Institute CEO Dorothy Cann Hamilton.

Baby Loves Salsa brunch Ideya Latin Bistro September 27 Bring on the beat for brunch this Sunday when Ideya hosts salsa artist Jose Conde and reggae band WeDeya. A baby-friendly menu, featuring Cuban Toast (Cuban bread French toast) and Pancakes with Bananas Fritas will be paired with mango mimosas for moms and dads, while kiddies can join in the party with their very own mocktails.
