The New York Times Fall TimesTalks The TimesCenter Thursday, December 9, 6:30 p.m. This season's edition of TimesTalks will feature an all-star cast of chefs, including Daniel Boulud, René Redzepi, and Michael White. Lidia Bastianich and Tom Colicchio take the stage on December 9 to discuss New York's fine-dining scene and the art of entertaining. Tickets are $30.
Mommy & Me Cooking Class Wall & Water Saturday, December 11, 2 p.m. Make the holiday meal a real family fair by involving the kids. And what more enchanting holiday treat to make than a gingerbread house? Learn how at this class, which costs $85 for a mom (or dad) and kid, and $65 for each additional child. Wicked witches prohibited.
Coffee, Cocoa, and Citrus Market New Amsterdam Market Sunday, December 12, 11 a.m. The market's season is coming to a close December 19. But this weekend, it's still in full swing. Sunday will feature more than 15 purveyors of coffee, cocoa, and citrus, plus a lineup of coffee-related workshops and activities at the Market School.
