Today: Sample wine from 35 New York producers at New York Drinks New York's Grand Tasting, held at Astor Center. Doors open at 5:30. Tickets are $25.

The guys behind Eleven Madison Park will chat with Frank Bruni at the 92Y Tribeca at 12 p.m. Tickets are $18.

The International Association of Culinary Professionals is hosting a talk on food policy at the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at 7 p.m.

March 15: The secrets of Cajun and Creole cuisine will be revealed at the Brooklyn Kitchen at 6:30 p.m. The class is $75 and includes a complete meal.
Whiskey and cheese unite at this pairing class hosted by the 92Y. The class starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $40.
