What's Happening This Week: Salting Lessons, Dinner and a Movie
The Street Vendor Project, an organization that advocates for NYC's street vendors, is turning 10. Celebrate with food and Sixpoint beer at Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square Park South) on Tuesday, March 27 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets start at $35.
Mark Bitterman of the Meadow will teach you how to salt your food properly with artisan salts, while you sip complimentary wine. The demonstration will be held at the Meadow on March 27 from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
To accompany MOMA's Diego Rivera exhibit, the museum is hosting a night of Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The event is being held at Cafe 2, on the second floor of the museum, and takes place on March 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Ger-Nis Culinary Center is hosting dinner and a movie on March 30 at 6 p.m. Prepare a multicourse Italian meal, then enjoy it while watching the Italian-American classic The Big Night. Tickets are $65.
