Opus One Wine Dinner David Burke Fromagerie Monday, October 6 Enjoy a five-course meal paired with wines from the renowned Opus One winery for $135 per person. The event is part of a month-long series of wine dinners at all David Burke restaurants. Taste the latest Opus One vintage with signature dishes from the restaurant. Guests will get to tour the wine cellar and get pitched on the benefits of the restaurant's humidity-controlled wine locker program.

Beer Dinner The Vanderbilt Tuesday, October 5 Chef Saul Bolton is teaming up with Captain Lawrence Brewing Company for a special $60 five-course meal paired with five different beers from the Pleasantville, N.Y. brewery. Butternut squash soup will be paired with Pumpkin Ale, barbecued pork shoulder with Smoked Porter, and fromage blanc cheesecake with Birra De Gicco.

Taste of Greenmarket The Altman Building Wednesday, October 6 Enjoy dishes and cocktails from 30 different bars and restaurants including hushpuppies by Gramercy Tavern's Michael Anthony; rabbit terrine with Bosc pear compote, pickled radish, and arugula from Northern Spy Food Co.'s Nathan Foot; and a Prospect Park Sour from Clover Club's Julie Reiner. All the proceeds from the event will benefit Greenmarket's Youth Education Project, which promotes agriculture and nutrition education among kids.
