Monday, January 28 Tiki Mondays at GoldBar Things are getting tropical at the newly reopened GoldBar. Tiki Mondays start tonight with tropical craft cocktails from Brian Miller, and chef Rich Sterling will brine and cook a Polynesian pig roast. Don't forget to wear your lei. 389 Broome St.
Slow Wine Tasting at Three Sixty Taste wine from 75 producers and 15 different Italian regions with the Slow Wine Guide, which explores a new way to experience wine. The guide focuses on sustainable wine making methods, and the tasting celebrates the guide's second English edition. A $50 ticket gets you entrance to Three Sixty and a hard copy. 10 Desbrosses St.
Tuesday, January 29 La Subida Dinner at L'Apicio Chef Alessandro Gavagna from one of Italy's finest restaurants La Subida will join L'Apicio for a five-course meal and wine pairing. Tickets are pricy at $125 a head, but the hosting folks are claiming this is a do-not-miss Italian feast. 13 E. 1st St.
Thursday, January 31 Adobe at Old Bowery Station Hang out in an old subway station for a night at Adobe, the new pop up from Old Bowery Station. Chefs Sarah Ashley Schiear and Gregg Drusinsky will prepare a six-course menu featuring eggs with oysters, surf and turf, and a butterscotch budino, with complimentary pairings from Thursday thru Saturday with seatings at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. See the menu and reserve your table here. Saturday, February 2 Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian at the Borgata Atlantic City is heating up this weekend. Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian will do a live cooking demo at the Music Box Theatre at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa for only $35.
