When Gingerbread Fails: A Slide Show

Making a gingerbread house is harder than it looks. A lot harder. But the good thing is that even when it fails to resemble a Bauhaus building, it still tastes yummy in the end. And that's the most important thing. Plus, a failed gingerbread attempt is beautiful in its own ugly way. So to kindle the holiday spirit within, here's a slide show of self-described "ugly gingerbread houses" and "gingerbread fails," cultivated from Flickr. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder (hey, I wasn't the one who called them ugly).
