2-hour bottomless brunch with Cuban Eggs Benedict equals a plan on Saturday or Sunday

If your holiday office party put you out of commission, why not walk it off with a trip to weekend brunch? With bottomless deals, cheap meals, and fun scenes, it's likely the best remedy to cure your hangover -- and any lingering embarrassment you might be feeling. (Your co-workers probably won't remember by Monday anyway, right? No, wait, right?)

New Bottomless Favela Cubana, 543 LaGuardia Place, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.

What better way to start a weekend -- or kill an afternoon -- than a two-hour bottomless brunch? For $25.99, diners receive all the mimosas, sparkling mojitos, and caipirinhas they can handle. Traditional Cuban and Brazilian food comes with the deal, such as Cuban eggs Benedict and a breakfast wrap. Upgrade to dishes like ropa vieja and a half rotisserie chicken with passion fruit sauce for an additional charge.

New Luzzo's BK, 145 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday, noon

The latest offshoot of the Luzzo's pizza family is now serving brunch. Hungry folks who find themselves in the Brooklyn Heights area can warm up with a sunny side up egg on a pizza or opt for a bowl of spaghetti carbonara. Those with a sweet tooth can take solace in crepes filled with nutella and orange preserve and ricotta pancakes. Pair brunch to a line-up of usual suspect brunch drinks like bellinis and Luzzo's own bloody mary, or grab a cappucino and read a paper (okay, iPhone) for hours on end.

New Prix Fixe Greenwich Project, 47 West 8th Street, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.

If you've got some serious shopping to do, a prix fixe brunch will help make the time consuming task of choice a whole lot easier. For $25, patrons receive a fresh baked scone or muffin, juice, and an entree. Selections include eggs Benedict with housemade cheddar biscuits, truffle egg salad, steak tartare, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Drink options include a garden bloody mary and a drink called Bklyn '76, a mix of gin, rosemary honey, lemon, sparkling wine, and lavender.

New and Cheap The Brew Inn, 924 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.

This new bar paying homage to New York state craft beer is attracting locals with a cheap brunch full of specials that are less than $10 each. The American breakfast -- two eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, or potatoes along with pancakes or French toast -- clocks in at $8; two sizes of biscuits and gravy ring up for $5 or $8. A daily omelette is $7. Hair-of-the-dog opportunities abound with the tap lines, where you'll find a large variety of beer and a couple of ciders.
