With a three-day weekend in sight for some of us, spending an hour or three at brunch is an even more enticing proposition than usual -- especially if it leads into playoff football or a night of debauchery. Here are a few places that can help your day get off to a great start.

Toloache Thompson, 205 Thompson Street, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.

For $19.99, fill up on bloody marys, vampiros, or margaritas for an hour and a half in Julian Medina's classy Mexican dining room. The brunch menu offers a few twists on brunch classics like steak and eggs -- which come with guacamole and a mole cheese enchilada here -- as well as a pork carnitas sandwich. Entrees range from $12 to $19 and can be ordered in addition to the bottomless brunch offer.

Bottomless Jazz

Crown, 24 East 81st Street, Sunday, 11:30 a.m.

Starting this Sunday, the Upper East Side will be a bit more lively courtesy of the Mimi Jones Band and unlimited bellinis. For $45, guests can opt for a bottomless prix fixe brunch that includes those bellinis, mimosas, an entree, and sides served family style. Choose from a selection of items like ricotta pancakes and an egg white frittata; the restaurant's a la carte menu is also on hand should you be craving John DeLucie's burger instead.

Corlette NY, 193 A Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m./noon

Offering Caribbean specialties, this Bedford-Stuyvesant brunch spot is a good location for anyone on a budget. Diners can select from sweets like cocoa bread french toast or a protein packed jerk salmon dish. There's also a selection of four dollar taco plates with fillings like octopus and chimi churri steak if you're looking for a lighter bite. Entrees are all less than $14, which means you can pick up a starter for the table (like panko crusted wings, for instance) without worrying about who pays what when the check comes.

The Sparrow Tavern, 24-01 29th Street, Queens, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.

Though walking by this dimly list Astoria bar might tempt you to seek food elsewhere, don't judge a place by its outward appearance -- especially in the outer boroughs. The homely space has a serious cocktail list -- the central coast michelada is a solid brunch starter -- along with a comfort food-focused menu. A cilantro egg sandwich, speck and eggs, and slow cooked lamb ribs are a few of the dishes you'll find; you'll probably need to save room for sweet potato fries if you're looking to soak up all the partying you did from the night before.
