Where Was I Eating? Berimbau
And thus a quick end to this week's round of Where Am I Eating? Not many guesses, but it only takes one correct one to win! I was eating at Berimbau, the cozy restaurant on Carmine Street named for the Brazilian percussion instrument. If you want to get into the spirit of Rio's Carnival -- which is taking place from the 17th to the 21st -- head to this West Village spot for faves like caldo verde soup and pão de queijo.
Congratulations to Te, who correctly named the restaurant. Please email me with your mailing address to claim your cookbook. Thanks to all who played, and a happy Valentine's Day to you all! And note that Where Am I Eating? will be back next Tuesday instead of Monday. Gotta give respect to the dead prez.
