Deep-Fried Duck With Vegetables from Random Florida Chinese Takeout
Year of the Takeout is on the road for a few days, but that doesn't mean our coverage of Chinese-American cuisine will come to an end!
So, to kick things off, YotT tried deep-fried duck.
This badass bird has a flavor and feel somewhat reminiscent of Korean fried chicken, and seems more tender than straight-up braised varieties. While the skin comes out crispy, the thick layer of fat under it keeps the muscle moist and makes for a rich, meaty meal.
