Pickled daikon on every corner: EV Grieve brings word that Zon, yet another "authentic Vietnamese sandwich" shop, will open on East 6th Street near Avenue A, in the space previously occupied by Gomi, a green boutique. Zon, incidentally, means "crispy" or "crunchy" in Vietnamese, according to the website of an identically named banh mi eatery in Orange County,
