Chili Takedown at Union Pool

Nick Suarez's chili placed third in the People's Choice category. He thanked Beyoncé for his inspiration and maple syrup, piri piri pepper sauce, and "lots of love" for making his chili delicious.
The fourth annual Chili Takedown took place on Sunday, February 8. Entries included Thai Fusion Chili, Japanese ox tail curry chili, and the winner, "Whore Mel," which included fried polenta con queso and fried jalepeño chips.
