This week cult comedy classic Pootie Tang celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a special screening and discussion with the film's star, Lance Crouther, and The A.V. Club's film editor, Scott Tobias. Topics included the film's original three-hour cut, the genius of Louis C.K. and MTV's plans for a Pootie Tang animated series. Presented by the 92Y Tribeca on November 7. Also, in conjunction with the November 8 launch of the online magazine, Warscapes, and the first English translation of Saadi Yacef's memoir, The Battle Of Algiers, The Lincoln Center presented a special screening and a discussion with Yacef, who also produced and starred in the film.
