Brooklyn's Sakura Matsuri ("Cherry Blossom Festival"), a weekend celebrating traditional and contemporary Japanese culture, took place at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2014, featuring a cosplay fashion show among other activities like Taiko drumming, Manga, tea ceremonies, J-Pop, Samurai sword fighting, bonsai, Ikebana flower arranging, kids' workshops, Nihon Buyo classical dance, traditional kimonos and more.
