Over 20,000 runners, EDM fans and party people put on their flashiest neon, brightest lights and wildest make up gathered at the Aviator Sports & Events Center in Brooklyn to run, walk and dance their ways through one of the more unconventional runs of the year -- the Electric Run New York 5K. Taking place on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28, attendees went through a series of Psychedelic and colorful lands that included glowing trees, floating umbrellas, multi-colored icicles and a Deadmau5-inspired section. After completing the run, everyone had the chance to keep the party going with nonstop electronic music playing in the celebration area -- complete with endless glow sticks and swag. Proceeds from the event went to Smile Train, the official charity of the event.
