The annual Howl! Festival, named after Allen Ginsberg's legendary poem, celebrates the East Village and Lower East Side's history as a preeminent locus of culture. This year, the Howl! Festival kicked off at the Bowery Poetry Club and ended Sunday. Brian Souser and Larissa Simpson view artwork on display on Howl's opening night.
