Leather is more than dried skin off a cow. It's a subculture that relishes in dark themes: skulls, brass knuckles, boot-licking, and quality time with your fellow fetishists. This past Sunday, at the LGBT Community Center, the gang was all there—and "looking forward to having you... literally," if you believe the organization's tag line.

Thanks for such a fantastic pictorial. Maro really captured the essence of the afternoon event. A note of correction, however. The caption on the final photo names the event "Leather Fest", whereas the event was titled "The West Village Leather Fest" (Leather Fest is an event held by another organization).
