Nasty Women / Stay Nasty Art Exhibit at The Knockdown

Performance arts and cultural space The Knockdown Center in Maspeth hosted a four day arts festival fundraiser titled "Nasty Women". In addition to a mixed medium art show selling original nasty women inspired pieces for $100 or less, the festivities included lectures, live music and performance art. Proceeds from the events were donated to Planned Parenthood, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, The New York Immigration Coalition, Girls for Gender Equity and SisterSong.
