A group of several hundred protesters gathered in Manhattan, marching late into the evening against police brutality. Marching to chants like "NYPD hey hey hey, how many kids did you kill today?" the group moved through the Lower East Side and East Village late into the night, taking to the streets throughout before ending in Union Square. At various points, individual protesters attempted to block the line of scooter-mounted police by tossing trash bags and street dividers onto the road, resulting in several arrests. Photos by C.S.
