Space Shuttle Enterprise Floats to its Home on the Intrepid

On Wednesday, June 6, the Space Shuttle Enterprise floated to its new home at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum. The Shuttle was due to arrive 24 hours prior, but weather delayed its voyage. Rain wasn't the only bit of bad luck Enterprise faced; during its journey, the barge carrying it got too close to the Jamaica Bay Bridge and scraped the Shuttle's wing. Good thing it doesn't have to use said wing to, you know, get to space anymore. ALL PHOTOS BY C.S. MUNCY
