Stickball Returns to the Lower East Side

Stickball Returns to the Lower East Side

Near the intersection of Madison and Rutgers streets on a May day afternoon: A twin bill of stickball and salsa & bacalaitos. Grown men, many Nuyoricans, returned to their old neighborhood from points throughout the tri-state and beyond. Can you say, wepa? We think you can.

The monthly series continues until September, with the next event scheduled for June 14. Ride the F train to the East Broadway stop. PlayStation crowd welcomed.
