The Museum of The City of New York is celebrating graffiti in New York City through an ongoing exhibition and an afternoon class with George "SEN One" Morillo.
On Saturday, February 15, Morillo gave an in-depth look at the history of graffiti culture in 1980s New York, via his own experiences on the Upper West Side -- tagging trains and creating mural pieces on building walls. He shared his knowledge on style and technique with attendants who tried their hand at creating colorful pieces.
