Perfect for the freezing weather, Yigal Azrouël's fall collection (shown at Highline Stages on Friday) had heavy wool parkas, sweater coats, and fur stoles. Then, it was high drama on the wintry set of Thom Browne's runway show at Center 548 on Monday. Taking a whimsical first leap into women's fashion (just after dressing Michelle Obama for the inauguration), he created a collection that appeared to be inspired by the red rose-obsessed Queen of Hearts (à la Tim Burton).
