On an October night in 2006, rock 'n' roll photographer Bob Gruen stood, for the last time, in a famous NYC rock 'n' roll club that was generally regarded as the birthplace of punk. It seems likely that he never expected to set foot in that space at 315 Bowery again or into the club's gallery space, located next door at 313 Bowery.
