Last night, Sunday March 4, Young Jeezy, www.youngjeezy.defjam.com, performed a sold out show at Irving Plaza. This was just one of the stops along his Hustlerz Ambition tour in celebration of his new album, TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition. The hall was packed to the brim with fans squeezing in every inch trying to catch a glimpse of their hip hop icon. As Jeezy took the stage and started out with "Let's Get it/Sky's the Limit" from his first album, the air filled with the smokey aroma of hip hop's true love, Mary Jane; a signal that the show had begun. Before Young Jeezy took the stage at 9:45 there was a DJ accompanied by Hot 97 who performed from 8 to 930 to get the crowd pumped with great mixes of old school and new hits from the hip hop charts. Jeezy kept the crowd pleased with the same kind of mix using old hits, like "Standing Ovation" from Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, and songs from his new album, such as "I DO".
