PETA Set a Bloody Scene in Front of Hermès Boutique in Manhattan

On July 9, 2015, a PETA volunteer, body painted as a crocodile, was lying down in front of the Hermès boutique on Madison Avenue to protest the brand's use of crocodile skins. PETA's campaign specialist Ashley Byrne told the Voice the demonstration looked to bring attention to last fall's PETA undercover investigation at farms in Texas and Zimbabwe.
