The Lucas Brothers Jump From Law School to Comedy

by Jessica Pilot | Sunday, May 10, 2015

Comedians, writers, actors and identical twins, the Lucas brothers (Keith and Kenny Lucas) describe their stand-up as "laid-back."

Keith and Kenny are the creators of the popular animation series Lucas Bros. Moving Co. on FXX. The brothers voice the show's main characters; narrating hilarious, absurdist (and sometimes stoner) tales.

Born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in High Point, North Carolina, the Lucas brothers came to New York to pursue stand-up after their third year of law school (Kenny at NYU, Keith at Duke). Since then, they've been in movies and on TV, and perform standup comedy all over the country.

The guys made their late-night debut when they performed standup on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2012 and have been a favorite on the show since. They also appear on TruTV's sketch show, Friends of the People.
